My prose writings

Welcome

It is a pleasure for me to start this blog in English, after slightly less than three years of my association with WORDPRESS. On 28th May -2006 ‘Gujarati Saraswat Parichay’ was started by me. The blog has been highly acclaimed by Global Gujarati readers, and is serving as a reference site for finding information about literary people in Gujarati language.

The purpose of this blog is to present my thoughts – mostly translations of my creations in Gujarati to begin with – to vast community of English readers. I also propose to translate Gujarati prose and poetry of well known authors of my choice, if time permits.

This blog is dedicated to the management and executives of WORDPREESS, who have demonstrated exemplary and concrete support to me in regard to –

  • Freedom of expression

  • Respect and protection of privacy rights

  • Mature and unbiased resolution of misinformed complaints/ conflicts

I also take this opportunity to express my deep sense of gratitude as a Gujarati blogger for the excellent services provided by WORDPRESS, free of cost, which has gone a long way in furthering the cause of sharing of knowledge, information and healthy entertainment; as also humanitarianism , fraternity, understanding and goodwill.

I have confidence that such initiatives will make the world a better place to live and bring in a new epoch in the evolution of mankind.

I am not a teacher! But best way to imbibe any language is ‘ Read profusely’
Spellings, grammar, everything will be learnt by mind automatically.

    Congratulations, Sureshbhai.

Wish you good health to keep working and sharing your ideas.

I have written some Gujarati articles (for example “RSVP”) that need english translation so that the young gujaraties and non Gujarati group can enjoy the theme.

    Keep it up.
